Weather map before high altitude balloon launch December 11th 2010

This is a weather map depicting the giant storm moving from the west cost and swirling Northwest up through Michigan. This is what carried our weather balloon into Canada over the course of a couple hours! This storm developed and pushed across the United States over the course of two days ending  on December 11th 2010

Although delayed, we will be working on this project more intensely over the next two months. I have just recently been in contact with someone at U of M that has significant information on their high altitude balloon and nano-satellite program.
